What is the purpose of vaginal microbiota analysis?

Maintaining a proper balance of the vaginal microbiota is very important, and it appears to be useful not only in preventing urogenital diseases and preserving fertility but also in preventing cervical cancer.
It is therefore evident that a healthy vaginal microbiota is crucial for a woman’s genital, sexual, reproductive, and overall well-being. how is it done?

The test is performed on a self-collected vaginal swab or one collected by your Specialist. The self-sampling kit must be requested from Genechron and can be picked up and returned at our office, or it can also be delivered to your home and returned via our courier (for a fee).

The report will be delivered 22 working days after the sample is accepted.
