Genechron aims at providing a complete set of services in the green and red biotechnology areas, by integrating the expertises of the three scientific partners on both the biological and the computational sides. During the first two years, Genechron will provide an integrated package of services, ranging from genomics and metabolomics services up to in-silico design of biomolecules and metabolic analysis (simulation of complex biochemical pathways), diagnostic tests of paternity, maternity, zigosity and sequencing of genes of the major genetic diseases. Genechron will also host a biobank for human DNA samples to be used as reference systems in research activities.
